Dresses, typical sunglasses and also the green Vespa scooter that Audrey rode with Gregory Peck in the famous Roman Holiday (1953). You can see all this and much more at a new exhibition in Rome, until 4th December.
The exhibition at the Roman Ara Pacis museum is called Audrey in Rome and presents also 150 amazing private photographs that Audrey took during her frequent stays in Italy. She loved Italy and her love grew even stronger in late 1960s when she met Andrea Dotti, an Italian psychiatrist. She married him in 1969 and had her son Luca with him.
When you buy the ticket to the exhibition, you will not only have a chance to admire Audrey and explore her private life. You will also contribute to UNICEF, which is not surprising as Audrey was one of their most famous and most passionate ambassadors.
Audrey, the star of many famous movies, such as Breakfast at Tiffany’s or My Fair Lady, died in 1993. She was only 63 years old.
